Gnah! You just--drew them so perfectly!! They look fabulous! Ilive Renji, he's da man! He's so freaking hot! And you drew his hair and the freakin' hard tattoos just right..*__* And Rukia looks so wonderfull..the only female-character I like. xD She's so..ghaa! her hair looks so pretty too!

WOW! As always I'm amazed by your shading ability. But this picture has many elements I haven't seen you use as much before. I really like the detail in the tattos on his head(so cool!). The depth given by looking down the end of the sword is most difficult to draw, I'm really impressed. Finally, I know I've said this before, but I MUST know how you do light reflection highlights to hair, do you actually do them by hand or is there a trick. They look truly contoured to the shape of their head and aren't just straight zigzags but instead actually curved lines. One final thing, the background looks alot like clouds, is this a generated effect or is it done by hand aswell. I hope you have some tricks or something because I have a long way to go before I can make those effects happen by hand. Great Job, your best yet in my opinion.

I don't use any effects. All is handmade with drawing tablet. The thing is that I only use watercolor brush. With hair, I simply follow the forms of the head. And for the bg, it's easy to make it look like clouds with big watercolor brush
