Happy 10th DeviantART Anniversary to me

Had planned a bit higher quality image but then I just ran out of energy and this is all I could scribble the next day! YAY PARTEH!

This dude is Predacon Grimwing, and all I had for references was a photo from the Toy Fair 2013. So excuse me for accuracy

Who knows if he'll actually appear in Prime season 3 or not. I hope he does, since he looks pretty damn nice, at least what I could tell from the toy.

I think this might be the first fanart I've seen of Grimwing-- good show! It looks pretty awesome, too. You managed to capture the details of the headsculpt perfectly while also making the whole thing look a bit more show-like.

Man, I really hope Grimwing appears in the series, or at least the comic or something. His bio makes him sound really awesome, like he could end up being the Dinobot of Prime or something.

Thanks, although I'm missing details from the head that I just couldn't figure out what they were, since the photo was right from the front instead of sideview D; And camera's flash light reflecting didn't make it easier to try and figure them out XD

Considering how much Prime styled design the character has, I could bet on it that he'll appear in the show.

Since he's not a retool or redeco of anything like most "non-show" toys are.

You're quite welcome, though yes, I see what you mean about details being lost from the camera flash and all-- that chrome-ish face is not doing him any favours, lol.

And yes, I'd normally agree with you there, but there's rampant speculation on forums like TFW2005 (which is generally a cesspool, but they kinda have a point) that Predaking will be the only Predacon to actually appear on the show, based on a couple of ads that referred to "Predacon" in the singular only, as well as the small amount of episodes in Season 3. I really, really hope they're wrong, though, because it would be a pretty huge waste, especially in the case of characters like Lazerback and Grimwing himself.

Considering from the logical side and story point, there's no reason to add only one bad guy, the bad evil boss. And why would they see the effort to do the small browser game to show all the new characters: [link] I actually played the game through to see if I could find the video that I saw three weeks ago, and it's the ending scene of the game. In it Shockwave fails to contain the Predacons and they all flee from there, and the place seems to be Cybertron. (They more or less were modeled after toys, so who nows LOL)

Anyways, we'll see in 11 days
